Fathers Day 2025 : Empty plate says it all right ! ..... May 2025 : My wife and I have been coming here for 5 years , the food , the service , the atmosphere and the cold , draft , Coors Light are second to NONE in Merced County , This photo of fresh , clean , Menudo con Pata .... YUM ! You want South of the border taste with an ice cold DRAFT Coors Light ? Heeeeres your place to goooo ! I review businesses on Google after I use them , hence the 1 MILLION views of my reviews. Josie’s is hands down the best!!! The staff makes you feel like family and the food is always delicious. Oh and can we talk about Josie’s magical fried chicken???? Oh yes I said fried chicken. It’s the so good! I mean really good! You have to try it. Seasoned to perfection and just that good! Josie’s is our favorite restaurant and we are thankful for Emma and all the Josie’s crew.

Okay... Not sure why I have not been exposed to Josie's until now. Wow. Now, I have been to a ton of Mexican restaurants and I have to say that Josie's is easily top 5. The homemade tortillas that Josie makes ... Forget about it. Get here!

The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but filled up a bit before we left. The restaurant was clean and looked nice. The menu was smaller than usual but still had a good variety. I didn't get much time to look it over as the waitress was trying to hurry to get out order in before a large group got theirs in. I had the Chili Verde Burrito. It was large and very flavorful. I had half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. It reheated very nicely. I'd score the burrito 8.5/10.

I went to Josie’s, I was in the neighborhood and I decided to stop by , food was excellent so was the service !! I liked it so much I went back on 2 more occasions! I will keep going back, the atmosphere is great and Emma and Hugo are very friendly and down to earth 🌍 . Growing up in San Francisco, I can tell a good Mexican restaurant when I taste it . I will bring my family next time. I highly recommend it!!!!

Every dish was well made and presented and full of flavors... will recommend highly to taste menudo the most cleanest and has no funny smell... I never eat menudo for those reasons but with this restaurant I can't wait to go back and specifically order that for myself.. along side with all the dishes I have tried so far and fell in love with them 😍... Thier drinks are well served and has amazing flavors also 😋
